City Beauty’s MicroBiome Night Mask: An Enthusiastic Review

I remember the day so well:

I was out to lunch with some girlfriends.  They were chatting about skincare, and somebody said something about moisturizer.  One of them asked me what moisturizer I used.  

Confused, I said, “I don’t use any moisturizer.”  They were shocked.

Why? Because I was in my 40s.  Not to brag or anything, but my skin was flawless.

How To Use The MicroBiome Night Mask

At night, before bed, I wash my face as usual.  City Beauty notes that applying the mask to exfoliated skin produces the best results, so I use their exfoliating Youth-Rejuvenating Cleanser and pat my face dry.

Then, I spread a thin layer of the mask all over my clean face.  

The MicroBiome Night Mask is a sleeping mask, so I don’t rinse it off, but just leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning.  

I haven’t noticed any issues with it staining my light-colored pillowcase, but you could always leave it on for 30 minutes before going to bed – or just put a towel over your pillowcase if that’s a concern for you.

Results

I’ve only used this mask for a few weeks, but I’ve already seen a BIG difference in my skin. My skin has never felt better! It feels soft and looks smooth.

I am always skeptical of anti-aging claims in skincare products, but I must admit my skin looks more youthful since I started using the mask.  My wrinkles are less visible and my skin looks more even in tone (less redness, for sure!)

My skin is makeup-free in these images – no moisturizer and no foundation. I’m very happy with these results!

Do I want to look 22? No, I am happy being my age. But if my skin can look healthier and feel great, I’m OK with that.

My skin feels so hydrated after using the MicroBiome Night Mask that I don’t need to add any moisturizer to my face AT ALL.  I haven’t used moisturizer in weeks.  It’s pretty amazing!
